Reviewing AML screening results

The AML screening is designed to help operators by providing an icon and a border that will change based on the AML alert review

This status indicates a serious concern. It means that there is either an unknown reject or a true positive reject. It’s crucial for ensuring compliance and security.
This status highlights that there is at least one unresolved issue, such as a potential match. It’s a call for careful review to ensure nothing is overlooked.
This status is given when all issues are resolved as false positives, or when true positives and unknowns are accepted. It signifies that everything has been resolved or risks have been accepted.

Change the AML alert status

An AML alert, by default, has the status of Potential match and in some cases Unknown or True positive.

StatusDescription
A system-assigned status when there is a potential AML match.

Once a decision has been made, you can update the alert status to either confirm the match or mark it as any of the following statuses. Any of these statuses can be changed, if corrections are needed.

StatusDescription
False positive - indicates that a manual review has been carried out and the potential match FrankieOne has identified is not the customer.
True Positive, Accept - indicates that a manual review has been carried out and the true positive match has been acknowledged, however, the risk is deemed acceptable and you want to continue doing business with the user.
True Positive, Reject - indicates that a manual review has been carried out, the true positive match has been acknowledged, and, the risk is deemed unacceptable.
Unknown, Accept - indicates that a manual review has been carried out however, the risk is deemed to be acceptable and you want to continue doing business with the user.
Unknown, Reject - indicates that a manual review has been carried out, the true positive match has been acknowledged, and, the risk is deemed unacceptable.

One way of updating an alert status is from the Workflow events page - this allows users to select a single or multiple AML alerts.

The updated Alert status will now be reflected in the returned results table and the overall workflow status will be updated to Failed or Passed depending on the results of other checks when the workflow has been re-run.
