Working With Country Codes

As can be seen, there are a number of objects and attributes that use a country code.

The FrankieOne service will always attempt to normalise and store country information as an ISO-3166-alpha3 code, such as AUS for Australia, or GBR for Great Britain/United Kingdom.

You generally can supply full country names or -alpha2 codes, as long as they conform to ISO-3166 standards, but the service will always attempt to convert to an alpha3 code. Failure to convert the code will result in the data being rejected and an error returned.
